Challenge
I needed to design a system that prevents duplicate voting, ensures data integrity, and restricts access to authorized roles (e.g., admin, voters) — while maintaining a user-friendly interface for non-technical users.
Goal
My goal was to create a web-based voting platform that: Allows eligible users to vote once Provides an admin dashboard to manage elections Ensures transparency with live result updates Maintains voter data security and anonymity
Result
I implemented a login-secured, role-based system with real-time vote tracking. I used PHP, MySQL, and Bootstrap to build the UI and backend logic. The system prevented unauthorized access and logged every voting action for future audits. I successfully deployed and tested the platform in a simulated election with zero duplicate votes and instant result generation.
